Over Ninety Ambulances Targeted in US-Israeli Strikes on Iran

(MENAFN) Iran’s Red Crescent Society reported Tuesday that 94 ambulances and 17 of its operational bases have been directly struck in US-Israeli air raids since late last month.

Pirhossein Kolivand, head of the organization, said the attacks also targeted three rescue helicopters and other rescue vehicles since the war started on Feb. 28, media reported.

Airstrikes by the United States and Israel have continued across Iran since Feb. 28, with the death toll now exceeding 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran has responded with waves of drone and missile attacks aimed at Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states hosting US military assets. The escalation has caused casualties, inflicted infrastructure damage, and disrupted global markets and aviation.
